This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch on break at work! The food is always fresh, delicious and changing! Their menu offers a variety of options and the staff if always willing to make a suggestion. The staff at Soup R Salads are absolutely the best!

I just need to say how incredibly awesome this establishment is. From the food to the service, all around a fantastic spot. I've not tried one thing on the menu that I didn't like (and trust me, I ask to sample them all :) ). I tend to get anxiety when ordering from a buffet style restaurant, especially during busy lunch hour, but the employees are patient, enthusiastic, and understanding. They laugh, they joke, they smile, all while serving generous portions of melt-in-your-mouth food. I'll never understand how they get that caesar salad dressing to taste like that... YUM!

What a great first impression this place gave!! Everyone working was super friendly and informative, I am always slightly intimidated going to new places but they made me feel so welcome and gave me an overview to what they offer which was really helpful. I got a sandwich and salad combo today but a regular customer recommended the lasagna which I will absolutely be trying next time (especially during winter). All their soups looked so tempting too. So glad this place is a 5 minute walk from where I work!!

Usually quite busy but can't fault them for that! It's always amazing every visit and I am glad they seem to be doing so well every time I go!

This is pretty much the only place I go to downtown for lunch when I'm in town working. The salads are always fresh and the soups are amazing. Portions are large and prices are very reasonable. The FRIENDLIEST staff downtown, bar none. They feel like family. If I were to give recommendations, I'd say go for the Taco Salad or the Italian Wedding soup. You can't go wrong, though. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Being a Rochester native I had to try the garbage plate. I could have a few notes if I'm comparing it to a more traditional plate, but I love Soup R Salads and think they did a good take on it. I have loved all their specials over the 18+ months I've worked downtown.

First time in and it was amazing! Staff was cheery on a Monday, helped me out with our orders and made us feel at home. Very clean, well organized and delicious!! The sandwiches are fantastic and I ate the taco salad which is now my favorite lunch item ever. We will be back soon!

Love this place! Everyone’s always very friendly and accommodating. I love that there’s a vegetarian option daily… I do wish though they offered the Tomato Veggie Asiago soup more often though!

I ordered a small taco salad and was surprised by its size. It was more than I expected and I was glad I didn't order the large. It was fantastic the right combination of ingredients and the best taco salad I have ever had. The price was also very reasonable and I felt for the first time in a long time that I got more for my money.
